General Responsibility.

The Technical Sales Manager shall be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sales and Technical Sales Department. This includes organizing sales visits, demonstrating and presenting new products in a structured professional way, and creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process largely dictated by the prospective customer. The Technical Sales Manager shall plan, develop, and maintain Sales Strategies that will meet the company’s goals and sales targets through new client acquisition, repeat business, and client renewal, while tracking distribution and sales performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Organizing sales visitsDemonstrating and presenting new products in a structured professional wayEstablishing new businessCold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new businessMaintaining accurate recordsCreating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process dictated by the prospective customerBuilding good working relationships between internal and external partners and customersGathering market and customer informationEnsuring that goods are available and delivered in a timely manner to the customerAttending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetingsReviewing sales performance with the superiorNegotiating contracts and packages that are pre-approved by the direct superiorAiming to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targetsPlanning, developing, and maintaining Sales Strategies that will meet the company’s goals and sales targets through new client acquisition, repeat business, and client renewalAcquiring and maintaining a robust number of leads in the pipeline to guarantee sales while considering turnaround timeProviding market research and analysis; preparing research-based reports and sales forecastsMonitoring market development and economic trends within the industry and evaluating their impact on the company’s portfolioUnderstanding the needs of business customersMaintaining current trade and institutional partners through regular visits/communicationsMaintaining client relationships through constant communication and visitsContacting and conducting follow-ups on sales prospectsInitiating and arranging events and roadshows with corporate buyers and customersEnsuring that all event details are accounted for, from pre-event to post-event structural management, properly coordinated with the marketing departmentCreating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process with a minimum of three different proposals prior to presentation to the superiorBuilding good working relationships between internal and external partners and customersGathering market and customer informationTracking competition volumes and monitoring competitor activities to evaluate brand performanceTracking distribution and sales performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisPerforming other job-related responsibilities or tasks that are not stipulated in this document but assigned by your superior or required by the companyFollowing company rules and regulations as specified in the Company Handbook

Qualifications

Graduate of Food TechnologyAt least 2-3 years’ managerial experience in Sales in the Food IndustryExperience in Ice Cream Production or Dry Blending is a PLUS!Knowledgeable in market research and analysis; prepares research-based reports and sales forecastsProven working experience as a business development executive, technical sales executive, or a relevant role in the food industryProven sales track record in the food and beverage sector, specifically in toll food manufacturing or commissariesAbility to build good working relationships between internal and external partners and customersAbility to create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process dictated by the prospective customerExemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment
