Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a Vice President to join our Corporate Strategy and Initiatives team, one of the most visible departments in our organization. As a trusted partner, you will drive outcomes and advance the service, support and business ownership function around our new LPL Access Portfolios Multi-Custody Advisory Program.

The Vice President, Multi-Custody will be an integral part of our innovative, entrepreneurial, high-performing Business Model Strategy team that is leading the evolution of LPL’s go-to-market strategy with new business lines and advisor affiliation models. The individual will be responsible for executing the business vision, including the evolution of features, functionality, pricing, service & support and products. The Vice President, Multi-Custody will be responsible for ensuring proper operational implementation and quality assurance of the advisor experience, and leading coordination with key internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of strong business acumen, a consulting mindset, and service, support and technology background to assist with the delivery of a comprehensive framework and support model for this new program. Additionally, you will ensure continuous improvement to this offering – with the goal of supporting its ongoing scalability.

Responsibilities:

Drive the management of service and support directly with Advisors and internal teams that are participating in the Multi-Custody As-A-Service offering.Collaborate across the firm to maintain alignment on vision, strategy, and performance to goals, approaching strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset, leveraging critical thinking to increase the value proposition of this new advisory program and surrounding offering.Drive decision-making for the business and demonstrate persistence in raising issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding program execution.Manage governance framework and business acceptance committee to ensure firm wide alignment and future program expansion.Become a Subject Matter Expert in the third-party partners capabilities to act as a key partner across the business and our participating advisors to ensure world-class service and support to our top Corporate RIA advisors.Create best-in-class reports and prepare presentations that are SVP+, C-Suite, and Board ready.Develop and maintain reporting that communicate progress, risks, issues, and program utilization, adoption and performance that support continuous learning and improve outcomes. Sets a high bar for results through repeatable, scalable processes.Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.7+ years of experience in the wealth management space with an RIA firm, related advisor technology provider, and/or leading custodian.7+ years of developing, cultivating, and leading strong, high-performing teams in a service and support or relationship management environment.Core Competencies:

Flexibility and organizational change management experience.The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority.Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team.Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact with senior leaders, including developing, presenting, and gaining approval on any business cases and funding requests.Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives.Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within position scope and at the company.Demonstrated ability to interact and influence senior leaders.Ability to create a strategy/plan that articulates that incorporates a business’s vision.Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges.Preferred:

MBA or other advanced degree preferred.Pay Range:

$133,400.00 - $222,400.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
