Responsibilities
Lead a DFMA team responsible fornumerousvehicle systems/domains across all Rivian's product platformsMentor manufacturing engineers through technical leadership, translate vision into action, inspiring from ideation to executionDevelop strategies to achieve challenging program timelines, from resource and schedule management to risk mitigationplansCreate and implement effective processes,standardsand workflows to improve team efficiencySupport your team but drive accountability through major milestones such as virtual builds and design validation buildsEmbark on a journey to discovernew technologiesand tools to arm your team and challenge the status quoListen patiently, act quickly,providecontext, and be a team champion
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineeringor similar technical field.7+ years of experience in an engineering role related toDFMA,product optimization,ormanufacturingoptimization.Leadership experience preferred.Skilledinmanufacturing andindustrial engineeringprinciples (OEE,cycle time analysis,DVA,Cp/Cpk,GR&R,ergonomics,DOE,quality control, equipment selection, return on investment, error proofing,supply chain &logistics)Demonstrated ability to solvecomplextechnical problemsusing first principles, challenge assumptions andbiased towards actionProven technical leader that can lead and influence cross-functional teamsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to concisely summarize and escalate complex topicsExperienced working within 2D & 3D CAD environmentsand various engineering tools
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $149,000-$187,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary:
Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
