If you would like to spend your workdays with animals in our beautiful new state-of-the-art facility and make a difference, the Digital Marketing Manager position may be the perfect fit for you!The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating all communications in support of events, fundraisers, campaigns and the day-to-day marketing communications of HSHC. The ideal Digital Marketing Manager candidate has previous experience demonstrating success in social media management, mass communications to an audience of 91,000+ recipient’s, graphic design with a knowledge of understanding of design principle’s, and Word Press management.Duties & ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Design : Write, edit, design, and implement communications for social media, and print formats to support marketing strategies, fundraising, and events.Graphic Design : Design creative materials based on HSHC design principles including but not limited to events, interior shelter signage, HSHC merchandise, and supportive marketing content.Social Media Management : Oversee social media content, creating and maintaining a regular publishing schedule, and promoting content through organic and paid digital advertising.Performance Tracking : Monitor and report content performance across channels, ensuring alignment with HSHC marketing standards, and track key learnings.Industry Knowledge : Stay current with social media best practices and technologies.Technical Communication : Convey technical subjects clearly and engagingly; draft, proofread, and edit written materials efficiently.Interdepartmental Coordination : Collaborate with shelter departments to fulfill graphic design and social media needs, secure approvals, and execute tasks promptly.Relationship Management : Maintain professional relationships with internal employees, the public, and volunteers for timely responses to information requests.Project Management : Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Website Management : Create, maintain, and update website content in WordPress, including forms, pages, graphics, URLs, menus, and calendars.SEO & Analytics : Monitor website performance with Google Analytics, conduct performance tests, and write quality content to ensure effective SEO.Additional Duties : Perform other assigned tasks as needed.Qualifications, Applicants must:PhilosophicallyEmbrace our No-Kill Philosophy.Embrace and foster a positive, “whatever it takes” culture throughout the organization.Hard SkillsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in social media marketing practices.Proficiency with WordPress, MAC with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Suites.Experience in developing social media strategies.Knowledge of campaign URLs, Google analytics and Social Medial platforms.Ability to develop the right voice for each digital platform.Create visual content for digital and print designUnderstanding of graphic design principles.Ability to measure the success of a campaign.Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or related field or work equivalent.Website design and photography experience a plus.Be able to perform physical activity (bend/stand/lift) for 8-10 hours a day at events.Soft Skills/OtherBe a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.Be able to multitask, problem-solve and prioritize appropriately.Be an excellent communicator—both written and verbal.Be comfortable navigating difficult and stressful situations that may require conflict resolution between employees and/or customers.Be able to pivot and react quickly to the unplanned challenges that often occur in our world each day.Be flexible to work some nights and weekends.Thrive in a fast-paced work environment where you are surrounded by the distractions of animal sounds, smells, and their respective allergens.Benefits Package:Full-Time employees are eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment.
