Eliot is in search of a Program Manager with 5 years experience working with youthful offenders. Our ideal candidate will be committed to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
Eliot’s juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment. These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee every facet of the program’s operation including educational, clinical, medical and residential according to the programs contract, DYS, DMH, DEEC and Eliot’s policies and procedures.
Commit to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
Become trained in The Building Bridges, Trauma Informed Care and ARC (Attachment, Self Regulation and Competency) and use these models within all aspects of the work.
Provide linkages to ongoing community treatment and support services, ranging from traditional services such as medication and individual therapy to less traditional services such as mentors, tutoring and transportation.
Oversee fiscal management including petty cash and the program’s annual budget.
Conduct, ensure and monitor supervision, evaluation and professional development of staff.
Facilitate and attend administrative, staff, shift change, treatment, agency, department and
divisional meetings.
Serve as a member of the on-call rotation.
Hire, counsel, discipline and discharge staff in assigned departments subject to the approval of the Vice President of Human Resources
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9-5pm with flexibility
