OverviewMicrosoft's Monetization and Business Planning organization directs our commercial portfolio's pricing, packaging, licensing, channel, and monetization strategies. Few teams exist that have such a direct impact on Microsoft and the entire industry. As cloud services, the consumerization of IT, and the emergence of born-in-cloud competitors continue to transform the global IT market, evolving Microsoft's core go-to-market strategy to be cloud-centric is vital. Our modern commerce and purchasing experience strategy will allow us to deliver new and exciting business models, introduce cloud-integrated customer experiences, and simplify how Microsoft online services are purchased and consumed through modern sales motions. As a leader in this organization, you will have the high-visibility opportunity to evolve and re-design commerce experiences across a range of businesses, including Azure, Modern Work, Security, and Business Applications. You'll have the opportunity to foster and grow a high-performing team focused on driving commerce business strategy, business models, and customer buying experiences that further increase market competitiveness. You'll also define our long-term roadmap and business requirements, which you'll use to influence and drive successful execution of launches in partnership with engineering and other stakeholders from around the company. You'll focus on nurturing strong cross-organization partnerships, developing influence strategies to accelerate your team's vision and prioritization, and bringing your own and your team's ideas to life through business case proposals. How you can make an impact:Attract, retain, and grow your team as a manager and support a diverse and inclusive team culture.Define and lead strategic vision for our New Commerce experiences and business models spanning across Azure, Modern Workplace, Security and Identity, Business Applications, and software.Build business cases to influence strategic decision making on business models, platform, and purchasing experiences.Coach your team to develop business capabilities to enact strategy; turn business problems into thoughtful business requirements and oversee execution/development.Work with senior executives and their organizations to foster cross-discipline collaboration, alignment and One-Microsoft business outcomes.Create concise and impactful presentations and targeted communications as required to drive new strategies.Lead with trust, embracing and valuing diverse perspectives and ideas.Embody our culture and values.What we'll do for you:
