This position is a key member of the senior leadership team for the CFO. This role is responsible for the financial activities of the business and requires hands-on involvement in the day-to-day business activities. In addition, the VP Finance will possess the necessary skills and experience to support the company’s financial vision for sales and profitability growth. The role requires a detail-orientated approach to create insightful financial analysis and provide recommendations to executives for greater value realization. The VP of Finance must ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax laws and regulations specific to our industry. Accurate, timely and relevant financial, operating and risk reporting is critical to support executive team members and business operations.

Vice President of Finance Responsibilities:

Ability to proactively provide updated income statement and cash flow forecasts capturing business changes.

Oversee all areas of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax filings.

Lead Financial Planning and Analysis, utilizing financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.

Manage the annual budgeting process and utilize operating metrics to project optimization areas to enhance margins.

Implement accurate, repeatable, and reportable cash forecasting process that allows for a strong ROI framework for timing of investments.

Lead risk management through effective claims management, establishing required financial reserves and communicating risk metrics and insights to business operations.

Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including leadership team, suppliers, lenders, auditors.

Demonstrate an understanding of working in a private equity owned business and their operational dynamics, requirements.

Develop accurate information reporting, including key performance indicators, to direct and monitor day-to-day activities that provide insights for better decision making both in the short-term and long-term.

Ensure compliance with all relevant finance and tax regulations and adherence to financial policies.

Vice President of Finance Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting—MBA or CPA desirable.

15+ years of financial management experience, including 10 or more years of managing a team of direct employees.

Ability to integrate and manage M&A transactions.

Demonstrated success in environments that are hands-on, fast-paced, and results-driven.

Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Experience building a finance and risk management organization and scalable processes to position the company for growth.

Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Accounting software, NetSuite, Adaptive preferred.
