Engineering DivisionMORE ABOUT THIS JOB:The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of DevOps processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations. They will be responsible for working with developers and operations teams to ensure that software is built, deployed, and monitored in a reliable and efficient manner.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement DevOps processes and toolsWork with developers and operations teams to ensure that software is built, deployed, and maintained in a reliable and efficient mannerAutomate tasks and processes to improve efficiencyManage platform infrastructure and application deploymentsMonitor and troubleshoot systemsStay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trendsSRE Responsibilities:Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault findingPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release proceduresProvide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applicationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or a related field7+ years of experience in DevOpsStrong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operationsExperience with Git and resolving build issuesExperience with enforcing test coverageExperience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and TerraformAdditional Qualifications:Experience with configuring cloud services such as AWS, Kafka MSK, S3Excellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience with coordinating between multiple teams to resolve build issuesABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital, and ideas to help our clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve to grow.
