Position SummaryAs the Head of Sales, you'll lead and transform a 70+ sales team, creating and implementing a scalable sales strategy segmented by ad product, advertiser type, channel, and SBU. You'll build impactful relationships with merchants, suppliers, marketers, agencies, and ad tech platforms, while maintaining executive level visibility into sales pipeline growth and forecasting.
Reporting to the VP, GM of Sam's Club MAP, you will exist on a tactical to strategic spectrum and lead and influence a team of multi-faceted professionals towards common revenue and membership goals. You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative, growth-oriented leadership team, comprised of strategic thinkers and executors.
You will lead a high-growth organization year-over-year, be passionate about our member-obsession and member-first culture. Our business is moving with tremendous speed and we are growing fast. You will need to develop an analytical sales strategy, transform, and grow the sales team against profitable results.

What You'll Do:
Lead and accelerate profitable growth for a $500M+ omni-media business
Lead and transform a 70+ sales team
Develop a scalable sales strategy rooted in data and segmented by ad product, by advertiser type, by channel, by SBU
Competitively achieve and exceed Op Inc., Net Sales, Gross Sales, Monthly and Quarterly forecasts
Build relationships with merchants, suppliers, marketers, agencies, and ad tech platforms
Maintain executive level visibility into sales pipeline growth and associated forecasting
Create an omni-channel digital/in-store sales strategy prioritizing which touch points are most profitable for growth
Develop sales leaders, elevating the strength and knowledge of the sales organization
Evaluate and bring ongoing modifications to our go-to-market strategy in partnership with product, marketing, and operations leads
Attract top advertising sales leaders
Be an industry leader, advocate, and ambassador for Sam's Club MAP
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of sales leadership experience in the retail media/digital search/eCommerce space
10+ years of experience across a multilevel sales organization, at revenue levels of at least $500M+
10+ years of experience leading a team of direct reports, medium-sized organizations and managing large teams
Experience in data monetization and omni-transformation
Experience growing profit-driven businesses within retail organizations
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Merchandising, or related field
Minimum Qualifications:Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing and sales, advertising, or related area and 7 years' experience in business development, market development, or related area.
Option 2: 9 years' experience in business development, market development, or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position:
Experience in preparing and executing budgets.
Leading cross-functional teams.
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Advertising, or related area.
