Major Duties:

Responsible for monitoring and balancing internal suspense accounts. Creating reports regarding the cash and security in the suspense account to be used by the division.

Work closely with administrators regarding the posting of corporate actions and answering questions regarding eligibility requirements.

Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Corporate Actions Analysts; the Senior Analyst will support the Team Leader with respect to workflow distribution and ensuring the effective use of staff resources.

Ensure all cash and stock entitlements are fully reconciled and cleared ELM and TLM.

Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls.

Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.

Have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management and act as a Subject Matter Expert on projects that impact corporate actions.

Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.

Deliver a work product that requires less revision.

Facilitate discussions, provide feedback, give recommendations on process and procedural improvements, and independently come up with solutions.

Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.

Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Knowledge of stock and cash reconciliations.

Experience:

A college degree and/or relevant corporate actions or security processing work experience is required.
