Our people find purpose and do what they love in an inclusive, collaborative, agile, and rewarding environment.About this positionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate professional who will help us change people's lives in Latin America and the Caribbean by supporting the handling of grant and externally financed projects through trust funds and co-financing resources.You will work in the Grants and Cofinancing Management Unit (GCM) part of the Office of Outreach and Partnerships (ORP). GCM serves as an accountable interface that links partners' resources to IDB projects, knowledge products, and programs that meet the needs of Latin America and the Caribbean through close coordination with IDBG’s operational units and the Resource Mobilization Division. The GCM key functional areas include: managing partner resources, ensuring compliance with the legal agreements with the donor for the administration of their resources funding Bank's projects; reporting back to partners; organizing data for internal decision-making and monitoring on donor resources under administration for Bank's projects.What you’ll do

:Trust Fund Management SupportAssist in the fiduciary management of the grant and co-financing resources, by ensuring that resources are allocated, managed, and reported according to the legal administration agreement with the donors.Review project information for completeness and soundness.Gather information regarding the outcomes of the assigned funds' activities through desk review and in-person interviews.Support the Fund Coordinators in the review of project documents for fund allocation, eligibility, and Quality Risk Review (QRR) of operations.Assist operational teams and other Bank’s teams with compliance with donor agreements.Review the reports of the operations financed with grants in the Technical Cooperation Monitoring System assuring good quality data.Prepare reports and briefings for Bank's internal use for donors regarding the corresponding funds.Other tasks/projects, as required.OtherPrepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other output in support of the assigned supervising team.Manage official communications.Backup for the management of the ORP/GCM inbox.What you'll needEducation:

Associate’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Political Science, Law or Jurisprudence, Business Administration, International Relations, or other fields relevant to one or more of the responsibilities of the role.Experience:

Between 2 and 4 years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: donor resource management, project financing or administration, audits, monitoring and evaluation of projects, and related fields.Languages:

Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is required.Ability to read through donor funding legal agreements (e.g., establishing trust funds, or project-specific grants (PSGs)) and identify clauses relevant to ORP/GCM areas of work (e.g., donor reporting periodicity; destination of unused resources after a project is closed; donor contribution schedule and tranches, etc.).Advanced working knowledge of MS Office; PowerPoint and Excel, creating tables and organizing data, a must. Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus.Experience with other business management or resource planning, accounting, or reporting IT applications and systems.Ability to work with data, to create informational reports. Experience in the development of data visualization and dashboards is a plus.Strong attention to detail to verify the accuracy of financial and operational data for data integrity and reporting consistency.Excellent time management skills to comply with strict deadlines within the overall roll-out schedule.Requirements:Citizenship:
