Since its founding in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) has been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare for women, children, and families. As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs: prevention, education, treatment, and housing.

Job DescriptionThe Director of Intake and Community Engagement is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Intake Department and community-facing clinical teams at Queen of Peace Center.

The candidate must have documented experience with diagnosing and MUST be a licensed clinician in the state of Missouri; LPC/LCSW/LMFT.

Ensuring adequate clinical staff coverage, this director is responsible for ensuring a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment for clients seeking services at Queen of Peace Center. In addition, this leader is responsible for overseeing programs that work directly with community partners to engage clients into treatment including: EPICC and Community Behavioral Health Liaisons. This leader will represent the agency at community meetings and ensure high-quality care and achievement of outcomes for the department while meeting budgetary requirements.

Hires, trains, and supervises staff and helps to develop a standardized onboarding and orientation program for each discipline of the supervised teams.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Lead a team of clinical team members that serve as the face of the agency to the community and individuals attempting to engage in treatment services.

Develop and implement processes and procedures that ensure a welcoming, family-centered atmosphere and high-quality clinical care.

Work closely with the quality department to ensure appropriate outcomes are measured and achieved.

Ensure the team is meeting service delivery, documentation, and billing requirements.

Perform routine quality checks of services delivery.

Collaborate with the Residential Director to facilitate a smooth transition from intake to the residential program.

Ensure census is accurately maintained.

Work closely with HR to recruit and hire for open positions.

Provide on-call clinical assistance.

Identify the need for and assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Develop a comprehensive onboarding program for new team members.

Provide clinical training for QOPC team members.

Regularly attend assigned community meetings and participate in a manner that positively reflects on Queen of Peace Center, Catholic Charities of St. Louis, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Responsible for overseeing efficient delivery of services to clients according to approved policies and procedures meeting DMH, CSTAR, ASAM, SOR, and COA standards.

Adhere to standards, policies, and procedures of Queen of Peace Center, Catholic Charities of St. Louis, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Pursue continuing professional development, join appropriate professional groups, and attend pertinent meetings.

Verify and document all appropriate information into the EHR system and state system as directed.

Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, and Training

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or closely related field.

Must be Missouri LPC/LCSW/LMFT.

Must have documented experience with diagnosing.

At least 3 years of experience in working with individuals in a substance use program preferred.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
