Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Purpose:You will provide instrumentation and controls engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley' and its customers', including technical support and supervision within the instrumentation and controls engineering team.This role is supporting a TAR project anticipated from now through June 2025, with the possibility to extend for engineering support during planning and execution.This onsite position is located near Denver, CO in a refinery/ plant environment.Ensure all engineering and design work performed adjusts to quality, cost, and schedule requirements.Ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner.Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards .Responsibilities:Perform designing/engineering work/deliverables as part of the Instrumentation & Control team.Ability to interpret client specifications.Coordinate/Communicate with other disciplines and the client.Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Assurance systemIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.If required, assist and support junior personnel within the instrumentation & controls engineering team.Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in instrumentation & controls engineering.If required, act as the instrumentation & controls engineering Lead on specific projects.May be required to provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.What you will bringTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:Working knowledge of Instrumentation & Control deliverables such as:Panel (JB and Marshalling) DesignP&ID'sLoop DrawingsWiring DrawingsMotor Control SchematicsInstrument Location DrawingsInstrument Specifications (Datasheets)I/O ListsBill of MaterialsConduit/Tray/Cable SchedulesControl NarrativesCause and Effect DiagramsMaterial RequisitionsConstruction or Engineering Work Packages.Working knowledge of Instrumentation Calculation/Selection, such as:Level Measurement (Radar, Displacers, Gauges)Temperature (including Thermowells Freq. wake calculation)PressureProcess Analysers and sampling systems would be a plusCompetent use of instrument calculation/selection specific software.Working knowledge (design/configuration/implementation) of any of the following systems:PLCs, preferable Modicon, GE, or Rockwell.SISs, preferable Triconex.DCS, preferable Honeywell TDC/TPS/Experion, Foxboro I/A, ABBxAWorking knowledge of industry standards and codes related to Instrumentation & Control system deliverables.Being able to work with multiple and concurrently small and medium projects.Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design software.Working knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software.Working knowledge (design/implementation) of Communication Networks is a plus.Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.Experience in S3D.SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software training (including wiring module)Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:Required:Bachelor’s DegreePreferred:
