Position Details

As the Chief Medical Officer/Provider, this position balances their time between 40% administrative duties and 60% direct patient care.

Loan Repayment Programs Eligibility

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties (40%)

Oversee and ensure high standards of medical practice within the clinic.

Participate in the training and development of our medical team.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop clinic protocols and formulary.

Provide leadership in maintaining comprehensive healthcare delivery systems.

Support the Patient Centered Medical Model (NCQA) of patient care in our clinic, including integrated medical, behavioral health and prevention services.

Engage in strategic planning and policy development with the agency administrative management team to implement quality, comprehensive patient care services.

Direct Patient Care (60%)

Deliver comprehensive, culturally competent physician care in a family medicine/community health center environment.

Elicit detailed patient histories, conduct thorough physical examinations, and provide diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and specialty referrals as indicated.

Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, utilizing our electronic health record system.

Coordinate medical, pharmacy, labs, imaging and referrals and follow through for patient care.

Provide compassionate counseling to patients and their families, addressing medical concerns and promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency Program.

Current licensure to practice in the State of Washington.

Board eligibility in the respective specialty (Board certification is a plus).

Previous experience in community health settings and working with diverse populations is preferred.
