This is a hybrid role based out of our near Portland, OR. In-office expectation is 3 days a week.

Senior Retail Store Designer, 3DABOUT THE POSITIONIn Global Brand Marketing, we focus on our consumers’ behavior, and create experiences around the globe to build their connection to our brand. Whether it’s media strategy, brand/product storytelling, content creation or partner activations, the consumer is at the heart of everything we do.

Our North America Retail Brand Marketing team is looking for a 3D Designer within the Columbia NA Store Experience Team. You will collaborate to develop visual communications, floor fixture mapping, and layout for new and existing stores, design systems, manage capacity/option count calculations for new and existing stores, fixture ordering and inventory management, and quickly visualize new Store Environment concepts ranging from sketches through detailed 2D/3D rendering. You’ll work with cross-functional North America Teams and Global teams to research, develop, and express concepts across a variety of platforms.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Create detailed 3D visualizations such as floor plans, perspective interiors, elevations, and 3D fixtures that are grounded in a strong strategic POV within a retail environment.

Participate in the evolution of retail store design elements to meet growing needs of the North America Business.

Create 3D rendered design solutions for projects focused on our North America retail partners and customer experiences.

In partnership with our lead architect firm, help develop and lay out new retail store concept renderings and retail floor fixture layouts for North America DTC approval.

Coordinate with outside agencies and creative services as needed, including fabricators, fixture vendors, and supplemental design resources.

Update and maintain seasonal fixture and store capacities for use in new store and remodel planning.

Drive capacity studies for new programs; provide detailed dimensions or other deliverables as part of collaborative briefing.

Maintain and manage all existing North America Floor Maps to ensure the fixture plan aligns with strategic business plans.

Create and manage fixture order forms in partnership with the NA implementation team.

Submit rough layouts and renderings for project approval with internal partners.

Travel will be as needed and during key times such as new store openings.

YOU ARE

Well-versed in retail.

Able to manage and track complex in-store marketing programs.

A strong communicator, including excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

A creative problem solver.

YOU HAVE

BA or equivalent with a focus on retail merchandising, retail planning, or visual.

5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.

Advanced CAD, InDesign, Sketch Up, and Photoshop experience.

Proven experience documenting standards and directives.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to meet tight timelines and manage multiple projects at one time.

Agile and flexible in an ever-changing retail environment.

Detail-oriented.

Collaboration and influencing skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Adobe.

Strong organizational and calendaring skills.

Ability to travel 10-15% of time.
