Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for the design and implementation of policies, rules and systems that support the Carnival Financial Data Governance initiative. It is directly responsible for the technical infrastructure, compliance and security over applications carrying financial data and applicable access Carnival Cruise Lines environments (including Finance cloud applications). The Manager will be responsible for documenting and ensuring appropriate financial data access between all Carnival finance applications, systems, and user access. The Manager is responsible for following up on all data quality management, data quality assurance, data governance and reporting excellence. The manager will manage, oversee, and develop the work on several onshore and offshore contractual resources and define a strategic plan for the department. The manager will ensure clear lines of responsibility, internal controls, and alignment with Carnival objectives.They will lead a team to organize, plan, and lead multiple efforts in any function or process as needed by Finance and work closely with the Financial Systems Leadership team consisting of 6 Managers and various departments including Oracle Financials, Inventory Systems, Payroll, Shipboard Financial Applications, Financial Analytics, Capital/Financial Planning, Revenue, and Corporate Legal applications. They will lead the design of the future strategic technology roadmap while providing guidance and support to Managers and Business Systems Analysts throughout the organization.Essential Functions:Develop strategy to create a roadmap for Financial Technology by reaching out and partnering with the business.Design and implement policies, rules and systems that support the Carnival Data Governance.Oversee BI/AI report development strategy and data security.Ensure User Acceptance and Security Access, Deactivation and Compliance Reviews are completed to audit standards.Provide direction, guidance and support to Project Managers and Business Analysts.Oversee and support the teams in the reviews of all I/S provided System Development Methodology documentation prior to sign-off.Leads and drives change with the team by embracing and communicating the vision.Proactively seek opportunities to partner with business initiatives.Ensure the teams serve as subject matter expert (SME) for project business requirements.Staff Management – Define organizational goals and objectives for the department and each staff.Qualifications:Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degreeDiscipline/Major: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, IT, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.Additional education/Certifications: Data Governance/Infrastructure preferredYears and area of Professional experience: 10+ years of experience in a managerial role with background in finance, IT, data governance and infrastructure.Critical, Professional related Technical Skills: Knowledge of infrastructure requirements, data governance and finance.Other Requirements: Project management experience, including testing of enterprise size applications.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to manage time and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously at a fast pace.Decision-Making:Operational: Decisions focus on day-to-day activities within the company.Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Travel:

No or very little travel likely.Work Conditions:

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.This position is classified as 'in-office.' Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft.
