As the Director of Brand Marketing Content, you will play a crucial role in helping to shape our reputation and strengthen client development.This position leads a global team of creative professionals, with responsibility for multiple programs: McKinsey's brand content strategy and operations, brand news and copy production, organic social media, and client impact storytelling. This role is pivotal in elevating our brand presence and reputation globally, by creating and sharing compelling content about our people, our innovation, and how we deliver on our mission to create positive, enduring change.What You'll DoLead McKinsey's global content and storytelling strategy, planning, and operations.Drive innovation across our content mix, use of formats, channels, and tone.Set the agenda for our broader marketing content approach and partner on our flagship global campaigns.Direct the brand news and copy program, ensuring all content reflects McKinsey's commitment to sustainable inclusive growth.Oversee McKinsey's organic social media program and lead on the strategy across social media platforms.Direct client impact storytelling and craft narratives that highlight client successes.Engage colleagues around our firm in our brand content agenda.Craft and execute global brand marketing strategies to elevate McKinsey's reputation and visibility.Monitor marketing campaign effectiveness and make strategic adjustments as needed.QualificationsMinimum of ten years in content development, strategic and creative communications, social media, and brand leadership on a global scale.Demonstrated expertise in external corporate communications, including social media, media relations, events coverage, and agency management.Proven leadership of a diverse and inclusive team of communications professionals.Strong collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively with executives and clients to develop impactful content.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across various formats.Experience leading internal cultural change initiatives.Expertise in launching communications strategies that boost visibility and credibility.Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.A passion for storytelling and a commitment to making a positive global impact.Analytical acumen, with a knack for using data to optimize content effectiveness.FOR U.S. APPLICANTS: McKinsey & Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
