Plumbing Designer

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer or Plumbing Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing plumbing systems, including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads. They will also be expected to develop project specifications, perform site evaluations, attend client and project team meetings, and provide construction administration.Responsibilities:Design plumbing systems including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads.Develop contract drawings/designs from schematics through to construction documents.Develop project specifications.Perform site evaluations.Handle construction administration responsibilities including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.Attend meetings with clients and project team meetings.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred but not required.EIT/PE license preferred but not required.1-5+ years of plumbing design experience, preferably for commercial, institutional, K-12, or healthcare projects.Fire protection design experience is a plus.Proficiency in Revit highly preferred.We are proud to offer a competitive salary range and exceptional benefits including but not limited to health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off and sick leave, 401(k) plans with matching percentages, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, tuition assistance, and professional development assistance.
