Managing Director

is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing a Private Wealth team who provides services and investment to high net worth individuals.This particular role will be responsible for Private Wealth Advisors throughout BOKF and will be tasked with supporting the Advisors and local Managers across the footprint, to drive results and increase success, company wide.Team CultureOur team culture inspires our entrepreneurial spirit. We give praise, recognize quality work, and pursue excellence.How You'll Spend Your TimeYou will manage and supervise a team that may consist of portfolio managers, wealth advisors, various analysts, traders or other personnel on the team. Allocating existing and future client relationships to the financial advisors and managing directors on the team. Has overall business development responsibility.You will have active participation on Investment Committee; assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and fiduciary requirements; assist in determining appropriate investment strategies, investment allocations, and investment instruments. You may serve on other committees to provide leadership and subject matter expertise.You will provide leadership and authority in determining appropriate business strategies, marketing and sales strategies, and clientele for the services offered.You will provide leadership in developing and implementing training for employees. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance reviews and corrective action up to and including terminating staff.You will meet with clients to educate them about the investment approach and philosophy, gather relevant information necessary to manage client financial affairs according to their objectives; communicate with clients; assist other advisors in meeting with existing and prospective clients; prospect for new clients and marketing services.You will conduct economic and investment research; research and recommend investments and portfolio allocations; manage and monitor client portfolios; perform investment analysis and financial planning as necessary to ensure client assets are managed consistent with client objectives; and perform other such duties as may be necessary from time to time that are consistent with the duties of a managing director.Education & Experience RequirementsThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of financial services industry experience with emphasis on investment risk and high net worth wealth platform solutions, including fiduciary management.

Preferred: CFA, CPA, CPWA, CIMAComprehensive knowledge of complex trust products and strategies as well as investment acumen.Excellent leadership and management skills.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service attitude and sales skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under extreme pressures with strict time frames, and with high net worth entities.Deep understanding of bank risk and bank compliance considerations.Ability to be a champion of efficiency through streamlining processes.Ability to effectively collaborate across many functional teams and lines of business.BOK Financial Corporation Group
