We live each day guided by our core values of Inclusion, Innovation, Collaboration, and Wellness.Job Description Summary:Job Description:PayPal, Inc. seeks Manager, Software Engineering 2 in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Oversee the day-to-day operations of an engineering team comprised entirely of software developers. Perform personnel management tasks for a team of developers, including performance reviews, mentoring, and planning each direct report's career growth. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Technical Leads to meet and exceed customer needs. Work on projects related to 3rd party integrations with P2P send money/request money functionalities. Collaborate with other cross-vertical teams to ensure that the P2P platform is well integrated with other core PayPal platforms. Provide Quality Assurance for P2P services. Provide comprehensive support to address P2P backend services related Live issues. Conduct code and requirements review for component features of the existing services as well as upcoming projects. Work with the Product and Engineering leadership team to define the roadmap of P2P services team. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or in the field of software engineering or program analysis.Special Skill Requirements:REST; SOAP; JSON; Spring; JavaScript; SQL; JQuery; Node.JS; Maven; Hibernate.Base Salary:

$239,200-259,600 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Travel Percent:
