We currently have an opportunity for a
Senior Data Engineer Scientist
to deliver solutions to ongoing projects through the development of high-quality data pipelines while also using predictive modeling to optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
As part of this position, you will be expected to create custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets as well as company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
You will provide analysis on company data to support various departments; discover opportunities for product and process optimization; use models to test the effectiveness of various courses of action.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or equivalent experience degree in data/analytics-oriented field required; Master's or other advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative field preferred4 - 7 years of experience with open source and other analytics tools and packagesBackground using various data mining/data analysis methods and data tools, building models and creating algorithms and simulationsProven ability to use data-based insights to drive business resultsExperience implementing large-scale software solutions is a plusIn-depth understanding for statistical analysis and computing, machine learning, deep learning, processing large data sets as well as data visualization, data wrangling, mathematics and programmingFamiliarity with data structures and algorithms, statistics, natural language processing, recursive neural networks, and classical machine learning.Proficiency in Python, Java, Spark, SPARQL/Cypher, SQL, Tableau and RDF/LPG frameworksUnderstanding of data warehousing conceptsDemonstrated skill in project planning and collaborating with large groupsStrong publication record is beneficialNO THIRD PARTIES PLEASE.For information on work demands and conditions required for this position, please consult the reference document, "Physical, Mental, and Work Environment Standards for IEEE Positions."
