IU Health Physicians is seeking an Anesthetistin Indianapolis, IN!Position Highlights:Participate in the growth of the anesthetist profession within the adult academic health center including IU Health Methodist and University HospitalsInvolvement in student, resident and fellow training, including a faculty appointmentFull-Time, Monday-Friday, flexible scheduling - will consider 4x10s, 3x13s and 5x8sNo weekend work or call requiredInpatient and outpatient responsibilities including: endoscopy, ERCP, GYN, ENT, dental, plastics, urology, ortho, trauma, NORA, general, neuro, and spine. Plans to expand anesthetist coverage to vascular, cardiac, and OBProcedures include: IV placement, airway management, arterial & central cath placement, general & regional anesthesiaQualifications:Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant ProgramMust have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational ProgramsMust have passed the National Certification Examinationand hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
