Job DescriptionThe Senior Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of creative content, brand, and marketing strategies across brands, driving results for offerings that include high-performance luxury products, retail, rentals, and experiences. This role involves leading brand content, eCommerce, digital marketing, and merchandising campaigns. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for ensuring brand synergy with Aspen One, as well as other partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $144,206 - 200,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and implement brand and marketing strategy to drive sales and increase brand awareness via owned and paid channels.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team with a hands-on approach.

Partner with shared services to manage the brand's social media presence and create engaging content to increase followers, engagement, and conversion.

Collaborate with the Aspen One Brand and Digital teams to develop cross-promotion strategies and ensure brand campaign synergy and increase brand visibility.

Work closely to create strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify new market opportunities, product expansions, or partnerships that can drive incremental revenue.

Analyze and measure marketing results, market trends, and consumer data and insights to inform marketing strategy and tactics.

Regularly update senior leadership on marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities, and align marketing initiatives with the company's broader strategic goals.

Protect, build, and enhance brand integrity across all platforms.

Create, track, and manage the department’s budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

10-15 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of brand, ecommerce marketing, digital, paid media, and merchandising strategies.

Experience in fashion, experiences, retail, ski, luxury, outdoor or sporting goods industry is a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform marketing decisions.

Experience with social media, public relations, and influencer marketing.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Supervision Given and Received

Supervision Given:

Exercises general supervision over marketing team. Assigns a variety of routine tasks, sets general expectations of results expected within company’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Supervision Received:

Works under limited supervision of Chief Brand officer and Chief Operating Officer. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements. No adverse or hazardous conditions. Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance.
