Position Summary:

The Vice President of HR Systems is responsible for providing vision, planning, project coordination, and management to implement and oversee support for the RPM HRIS platform. Partner with various internal departments and external vendor partners to develop efficient and effective processes and workflows as well as analyzing and directing all functionally related activities within the scope of the HRIS platform. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and the successful delivery of the platform throughout RPM.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful implementation, maintenance, operations, technical and functional end user support, and optimization of the UKG Pro system and interfaces, as well as other potential non UKG systems that are parts of the overall RPM HRIS platform, such as Recruiting/Applicant Tracking System, New Employee Onboarding System, Benefits Administration, and Performance Management System.

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency, and data and access security.

Conduct and jointly partner with the Director of HR Systems to participate in the analysis of workflows and design of functionality and/or improvements to systems, ensuring both process and system requirements are fully identified, evaluated, tested, and implemented.

Identify and troubleshoot system issues and work with internal and external resources as needed to bring to resolution.

Assist with people data analytics and reporting capabilities, ensuring systems are optimized to reduce manual reporting.

Provide required reporting to operational and HR leadership.

Work cross-functionally to understand business needs and provide actionable insights for ongoing customer needs.

Develop end-user procedures, guidelines, and workflow documentation.

Work with leadership to ensure timely implementation and delivery of new functionality and enhancements.

Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance, and IT to align technology and implement standardized processes.

Supervise and mentor a team of HR Systems Analysts and Administrators, conduct performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for skill enhancement and career advancement.

Work with stakeholders to create, update and oversee processes and workflows for HRIS systems and implement timely updates as changes occur.

Ensure data accuracy within the HRIS platform; enable and monitor data feeds to other RPM systems.

Develop and document short- and long-term system strategies.

Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, content management, and retention.

Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements, both regulatory and industry standard.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, information technology or similar.

10+ years of HRIS and HR process and/or system improvement (UKG or Workday preferred); 5+ years managing HRIS implementations and/or enhancements.

Must be analytical, detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Administration experience with UKG and/or iCIMS required.

Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for measuring results via data and metrics.

Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in managing confidential data/information.

Aptitude for statistics; report generation and analysis to measure system performance and drive improvements.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data.

Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer.

May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds.

Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment.

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.

The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
