Technical Specialist

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to provide technical support for the NAS Monitoring Team (NMT) Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). The successful candidate will interface with RMLS users and other specialists in hardware, software, logistics, testing, system and database administration for RMLS troubleshooting, field support and documentation.Essential Job Functions:Maintain hardware/software environment and JIRA ticketing software.Develop test processes and procedures.Produce test and remediation plans and reports and handles implementation of computer hardware and software for operational systems.Provide 2nd level engineering support for RMLS applications.Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software or other technical issues.Identify and document defects, bugs and inconsistencies, technical assistance and system maintenance in a ticketing system/database.Interpret and analyze complex information systems data to develop technical documentation, system diagrams and presentation materials.Attend system design reviews, technical interchange meetings and any other meetings as requested to support program and team.Create and update related documentation.Other Job Functions:Must be able to work in a large group environment.Problem solving skills.Work with outside vendors.Strong interpersonal/team working skills.Initiative.Attention to detail.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent writing and verbal skills.Excellent customer relations skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to identify time sensitive issues, resolutions and possible escalation in high pressure situations.Interpret and analyze complex information systems data to develop technical documents, system diagrams and videos.Ability to create “How-To” Studio Videos (i.e., Camtasia).Education:High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience ORAssociate degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience ORBachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 years of related experience.Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required.
