Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Strategic Business Development leader to focus on business growth and technical innovation within the Defense Agency market. In this role, you will work closely with federal executives, DoD CIO, and senior leaders at Defense Agencies to drive the overall AWS strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and a solid understanding of cloud computing and emerging technologies.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a trusted advisor to Defense Agencies, working with internal teams to provide cloud capabilitiesDefine and execute a strategic market development plan in partnership with key stakeholdersIdentify and engage key customers and industry partners to drive business development opportunitiesUnderstand customer technical requirements and collaborate with internal teams on product offeringsPresent business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocksBasic Qualifications:7+ years of technical sales experience in a B2B environmentBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and web-based meeting applicationsPreferred Qualifications:AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)Knowledge of existing and developing technologiesExperience working in complex IT environments or equivalent
