Job Summary: The Provider Network Manager develops the strategic direction and management of the day to day contracting and network management activities for Saint Francis Health System (SFHS) Population Health. This role interfaces with internal and external providers and supports their success within Population Health networks and programs.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience within a healthcare environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency using computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Working knowledge of medical claims processing, care management, and quality measures. Ability to be detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Develops and maintains the provider networks which support SFHS Population Health. Identifies opportunities for network optimization and performance improvement and implements interventions to drive success. Defines and owns the provider participation contracting and document management processes for SFHS Population Health and its associated entities. Analyzes, reviews, and projects financial impacts of network arrangements. Establishes productive, professional provider relationships with internal/external providers. Maintains provider satisfaction through assessment and response to on-going provider needs. Provides feedback and resolution of any complex or escalated provider issues. Collaborates with other team members to develop and deploy information resources and programs for network participating providers. Drives change with external provider partners by assessing clinical informatics and offering consultative expertise to assist with population health initiatives. Ensures accurate implementation and administration of population health networks and/or programs.

Decision Making: Independent judgement in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.

Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level and above.
