Join a company on a mission to provide teachers with the best technology to develop the next generation of STEM leaders! We are seeking a Field Account Manager to acquire and retain customers (schools and districts) by coordinating with Customer Success, Marketing, and Senior Account Managers. You will provide ongoing customer engagement experiences, conduct quarterly impact meetings, organize regional events, and facilitate regular professional development. This role involves onsite meetings and demonstrations to schools and districts, as well as hosting onsite training sessions as needed. The Field Account Manager will also collaborate with the Customer Success Team to ensure seamless onboarding for new customers and support current customers through a smooth renewal process.

This position will be a combination of base salary (70,000-100,000 depending on experience) + commission with a total target compensation between $150,000 - $200,000)

Job Details

Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention within assigned states.Schedule and conduct regular onsite meetings with school and district administrators.Organize and lead professional development sessions for educators to maximize the use of our products.Plan and execute regional events to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.Conduct quarterly impact meetings to review customer progress and gather feedback.Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to ensure new customers are onboarded seamlessly and effectively.Provide ongoing support to current customers, addressing any issues and ensuring a positive experience.Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and progress using CRM software.Work closely with Marketing to develop and distribute promotional materials and resources.Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for onsite sessions.Monitor and report on customer satisfaction and product usage, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

Requirements:Successful sales experience with K12 Institutions, such as exceeding quotas or KPI's (experience selling a STEM product highly preferred)5+ years of business development and account management experienceExperience with software product demonstrationsFamiliarity with CRMs and other sales technology (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)Existing relationships with school districtsKnowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personasExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skillsBachelor's Degree
