Director FIA Product Management

Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) is looking for a Director of FIA Product Management to help drive the end-to-end experience across the broader Wealth organization. Join a diverse team that builds, promotes, and supports outstanding annuity, life and long-term care products.

The Role

  • Define and deliver on the FIA value proposition for the products you lead.
  • Build compelling and effective positioning of these products in the overall financial planning process to help Fidelity clients learn more about how our solutions can help address their financial goals.
  • Partner externally with FIN carrier partners and internally with our Actuarial, Field Support (sales), and Training functions as well as our Client Communications team to position and deliver high value financial solutions.
  • The Product Manager will also have a strong understanding of demographic and industry trends as well as the FIN carrier partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Present and make recommendations to FIA senior leadership on a periodic basis.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • 10+ years of strategic and tactical product management (Financial Services experience strongly preferred).
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required can obtain within 90 days.
  • Knowledge of general investment concepts, taxes, retirement planning, annuities, and insurance.
  • Experience working in an agile environment a plus.
  • Decision-making using data, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
  • Proven expertise with cross functional collaboration to achieve the best results.
  • Experience with resource planning and allocation within and across organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills You must be passionate about your products and lead change through influencing skills all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics to all organizational levels.

Fidelity's working model
