The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a family-owned scientific organization near Brookfield, CT that has a direct hire opening for a Chemist.

Responsibilities

• Support processing operations related to production of organic chemicals using synthetic chemical methods and related systems/instrumentation.
• Setup equipment
• Use analytical equipment for assessing in-process and final product status.
• Interpret results

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry
• Must understand principles of analytical chemistry and organic chemistry
• Must be able to evaluate materials by odor

Additional Details:

• Position Type: DIRECT HIRE
• Onsite position
• Shifts are fixed schedule of three (3x12) a week. – open to discussion on what shift works best for you.
• 1st shift A: Sun-Tues, 6am-6:30pm
• 2nd shift A: Sun-Tues, 6pm – 6:30pm (Wed) (Additional shift differential included)
• 1st shift B: Wed-Fri, 6am-6:30pm
• 2nd shift B: Wed-Fri, 6pm-6:30am (Sat) (Additional shift differential included)
• Pay rate range based on experience: $26.50-28/hr
