In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Perform validation of Ovation Digital Twin and its Tools which represent mathematical models of plant equipment for power generation plant simulators.Perform Heat balance calculation for the mathematical models (simulation algorithms).Prepare Boiler, Balance of Plant, Main Steam, Air & Flue Gas, Gas & Steam turbine, Supercritical & Electrical modelling as required for the various test scenarios to be executed.Perform smoke test, first pass test and regression testing.Maintain Hardware/Virtual test setups that are part of automated/manual test environment.Log defects in project defined defect tracking tool.Read and follow relevant project Engineering practice and standards.Collaborate and coordinate with other testers.Who You Are:You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering2+ years of experience, with at least 1 year in a technology-related field with Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation/modelingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Knowledge of performing stoichiometry calculation for various chemical reactions (for example, fuel combustion)Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electrical, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, performance testing)Our Offer To You:By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
