Navy and Marine Corps IT Business Development Manager

DescriptionOur Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Navy and Marine Corps IT (NMC IT) Business Development Manager. This role is based at our Headquarters office in Reston, Virginia, and offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to Leidos' business with the Navy and Marine Corps. The successful candidate will drive the development of a robust qualified pipeline for NMC IT and its primary customers, focusing on both near and long-term business strategies. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying business development programs, developing new business opportunities, working closely with Solution Architects and Business Development and Capture teams, and fostering relationships with industry partners and customers. The ideal candidate should possess a BA/BS or equivalent experience with 12+ years of relevant experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proven record of success in developing opportunities within the Navy and Marine Corps markets. Additionally, they must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Top Secret clearance. Experience with federal government budget, investments, and acquisition processes, as well as familiarity with DoD, Navy, and Marine Corps modernization initiatives, is preferred.
