This is a FT onsite role, no hybrid or remote work, located in Lanham, MD.Clinic Hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 8am - 6pm, Tuesday & Thursday: 7am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1pmPotential to work 1 day a week in White Plains, MD.ABOUT THE JOBThe Mental Health Provider is responsible for treatment planning, assessments, appropriate documentation of clinical progress, and the delivery of evidence-based therapy modalities and interventions to meet the needs of individuals, couples, and families. In addition, Mental Health Providers can lead group sessions, educational workshops, and work closely with the clinical team in helping each patient reach their optimal health and assuring a streamlined coordination of care.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESClinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):Patient centered, outcomes based, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families ages 12 years and olderLead support groups and/or psychoeducation groups as appropriateCreate and deliver psychoeducational webinars and workshops related to mental health topicsCollaboration with other behavioral health and medical clinicians for integrated continuity of care for patientsAdministrative Duties (may include, but not limited to):Using computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office suiteTimely completion of documentation within EMRWork to address other social needs of patients and utilize appropriate external and/or internal referral sources for specialty care, hospitalization, or advanced psychiatric assessments and treatmentsQUALIFICATIONSAt least Master’s level, licensed mental health clinician that includes but not limited to psychologists, licensed counselors, licensed social workers, and licensed marriage & family therapists among other specialties (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, and/or PhD)If in process of independent licensure, will need to be licensed within 2 years of hire dateBLS (Basic Life Support) Certification or become certified upon hireRequired experience in providing counseling and mental health services, which may include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment of mental illness, and other psychological issuesPreferred 2 or more years’ experience operating as an independently licensed behavioral health clinicianPreferred experience using evidence-based treatment to treat multiple behavioral health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and PTSDPreferred experience with behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, and case managementDESIRED ATTRIBUTESWithin scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Prevention, wellness, and client involvement is emphasizedAbility to work within a multidisciplinary teamPay Range: $85,000 - $117,000/yrThe actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
