This position will have administrative responsibilities and consumer enrollment actions related to the Developmental Disabilities Administration’s (DDA) home and community-based service waiver(s). This position will do verifications and maintenance of consumer waiver information. This position ensures that constituents eligible for DDA’s waiver(s) are properly identified and enrolled. This position will keep with the mission of DDA to maximize to the extent reasonably possible enrollment of consumers in the home and community-based waiver for federal financial participation in the cost of providing DDA funded services.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Experience:

Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.Notes:Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with DDA Waiver Programs.Experience/Knowledge of DDA Waiver eligibility requirements.Experience processing waiver enrollment packets.SELECTION PROCESS:
