Graphic Designer

Hybrid schedule of T/W/TH in office and M/F work from home.The Supply Accessories team in Huntington Beach, California is growing! We are a global player in the headwear industry developing product for brands such as Hurley and Von Dutch. We are looking for an experienced Designer to design and deliver headwear, glove designs and graphics. The candidate will be a core support role to the creative team.The ideal candidate will be able to design exceptionally well within a brand guideline yet knows how to evolve design and graphics when challenged to do so. Must be a team player, motivated self-starter who independently prioritizes projects and consistently meets deadlines. Projects include hat design, beanie design, glove design, graphic design and collateral work such as renderings, sell sheet assortments.As we are a collaborative team working with physical goods, office time is required for this position.Essential Day to Day Function:• Create seasonal headwear and accessories design for multiple brands.• Create tech packs for all products and update as needed.• Work closely with product developer ensuring all details are clearly communicated before handover.• Maintain product image library: create, maintain, and share images of brand assets and sales support deliverables.• Ensure designs align with the brief and brand guidelines.• Assist the sales team with any creative request needed for buyer meetings.Additional Responsibilities:• Assist with seasonal catalog shoot preparation and day of responsibilities.• Product presentations to sales and in-house team as needed.Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree - commercial art / graphic design or equivalent experience.• 3+ years of experience in graphic design or accessories design.• Strong Knowledge in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.• Knowledge of printing and embellishment techniques used on products.• Excellent upward communication, time management, and organization skills.• Awareness of the latest design trends and when to apply them.• Efficient and detail oriented.• Portfolio link or PDF required during submission.Please submit resume and portfolio info through Malakye.
