Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire an on-site Sr. Property Manager to join our team at Timber Lake Apartments (282 units) & Stonehedge Apartments (175 units)! The Sr. Property Manager oversees the operations of these two properties that are located in East Lansing, MI.

The Sr. Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple apartment communities while overseeing and enhancing the value of the properties. This individual will aid in organizing the properties' financial information, using this information to make projections, and find areas of improvement for the properties. Some key responsibilities consist of marketing and outreach, supervision of property staff, and providing services to residents. The Sr. Property Manager reports directly to the Regional Manager. This job is perfect for a team player who is motivated by setting and upholding standards to make their property stand out from the rest.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintaining the properties' financial goals

Controlling cost and meeting budgeted numbers for two budgets

Ensuring invoices are submitted in a timely manner

Completing various reports on the property's condition and financial wellness

Maintaining occupancy goals for the property

Development of the leasing and maintenance staff

Planning office schedules and task assignment

Ability to maintain property appearance

Administer tours and answer questions for prospective residents

Attention to resident concerns and overall resident satisfaction for the property

Implementing and enforcing community policies

Using marketing strategies to secure prospective residents

Marketing outreach within the nearby community

Collaborating with maintenance supervisor on projects and maintenance needs

Maintain a safe and positive living environment

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of experience in the multi-family housing or hospitality industry

Multi-site property management experience preferred

CAM preferred, but not required

Ability to effectively communicate with staff and supervisor

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Entrata or related programs a plus

Highly motivated

Strong customer service

Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking

Strong leadership and conflict resolution experience

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

An overall happy demeanor

High energy and positive attitude

Professional and polished image

High-school diploma, bachelor's degree a plus

Ability to work well in a team setting

Ability to pass background screening and drug test

Valid Driver's License with Auto Insurance
