As an employee, you're protected by our liability insurance, bonding, auto insurance, and workmen's compensation insurance. Plus, we vet our potential clients as much as they vet us - no creepy clients allowed!What We Do:Provide dog walking, dog hiking, pet sitting, cat care, exotics/critter care, and overnight care services to Pet Parents in our service area.Ensure the safety, love, and reliable care of the pets we serve, providing peace of mind to their owners.You will work independently most of the time but with the support of a management team to liaise with for emergencies and questions. Use common sense and discernment when making decisions in the field.Now, the non-negotiables - Job Requirements:Must reside within our service area.Own a reliable, registered, and fully insured dog-safe vehicle with a valid Driver's License and be able to transport dogs in said vehicle.Possess a smartphone with photo/video/GPS capability and be able to multitask on it.Must adore animals; formal experience not required but highly sought after.Be comfortable caring for both cats and dogs. Experience with not-so-common pets is highly appreciated (rabbits, hedgehogs, fish, chinchillas, ferrets, etc).Pass a background check.Be able to maintain a brisk walking pace for up to 6 hours (non-consecutive) per day in any type of weather (rain, snow, heat).Be able to squat down and bend over multiple times per hour (putting on a dog harness, picking up poop, kneeling to scoop litter boxes).Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable handling dogs over 50 pounds.Be able to safely hold dogs on leash and pick up dog poop at the same time, with good balance and coordination.We are hiring for ALL SHIFTS (please indicate your availability in your application)Part-Time : Mornings, afternoons, evenings—your pick!Full-Time : Monday-Friday daytime. 30 hours/week.Mini-Shifts : 1-3 hour shifts mornings, midday, afternoons, or evenings.Weekend/Overnight/Travel Care : Flexible gigs to fit your lifestyle."When Sh*t Hits The Fan" Back Up Positions Available - any hours.APPLY NOW AND BECOME PART OF OUR PACK AND SPEND TIME WITH ALL THESE DERPY FACES!
