Description:The Marketing & Programs Manager uses the 4 P’s of Marketing and is responsible for implementing and executing marketing programs which support accelerated profitable growth and customer retention on site at Asilomar Conference Grounds. The Marketing & Programs Manager helps to support all critical business initiatives including consumer engagement, local event cultivation and execution, activations of interpretive client needs. The Marketing & Programs Manager upholds and represents the Aramark Destinations brand, the client’s brand and all branding elements.About Asilomar Hotel & Conference Grounds:Asilomar is located on the Monterey Peninsula in charming Pacific Grove, California. The salary range for this position ranges from $66,560 to $90,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.Job Responsibilities:Using Sprout Social, contributes to social media for content creation and cultivation including Stories and Reels.Focus on enhancing and building Asilomar’s brand within the community through year-round events, concert series, markets, holiday events – from planning to execution.Manages local customer engagement through the Como Platform for remarketing and events.Create reports for management teams detailing reputation and review trends, responsiveness, and activity.Works collaboratively with front line management on administration of marketing, service excellence and acts as the onsite liaison for the line of business marketing team.Represents Asilomar in MPHA, SeeMonterey, Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations.Builds local partnerships that enhance community visibility, aligns with Aramark mission and California State Parks mission.Write and edit content for websites, landing pages, blogs, social media, and other communications platforms.Ensures alignment with California State Parks Interpretive mission to implement campus wide projects.Collaborates with California State Parks to develop and market interpretive and historical programs.Create annual marketing plan to drive leisure and group revenue.Work with LOB Marketing and creative agency on collateral/signage needs.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or communications, or a related fieldUnderstanding of search engine behavior, social media, forums, blogs, online ratings and reviewsExperience in digital marketing, email, social media, blogging preferredExceptional writing and editing skillsExperience in interpretive or historical program planning is preferred, not requiredStrong oral communication, interpersonal, analytic and time management skillsStrong work ethic and positive attitudeFlexible and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs quicklyCommunity Event coordination skills will be important in this roleAbility to create, track, and analyze effective strategies that target audience engagement, growth, and relationship buildingAbout Aramark:The people of Aramark proudly serve millions of guests every day through food and facilities in 15 countries around the world.
