POSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing Director is a professional leader responsible for leading, overseeing and guiding all marketing efforts at Mid-Del Technology Center (MDTC). This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, coordinating marketing activities, and creating a robust marketing plan to enhance MDTC’s visibility and growth. The Marketing Director will lead both the traditional and non-traditional marketing efforts ranging from print materials, digital media, social media, website, and community events to ensure alignment with MDTC’s strategic plan and goals while maintaining high standards across all delivery arms.This role also involves guiding the leadership team in the development of important technology center documents and opportunities, including CareerTech’s accreditation application, post-accreditation monitoring, and Tech Center grants and OkACTE awards for MDTC and its staff.This position works on a 235-day contract (12 months) with a daily schedule of 7:30am-4:00pm (some evenings & weekends required).QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing and Communications or a related field, or at least 5 years of recent experience in marketing, including developing content.Knowledge of the CareerTech System strongly preferred.Experience working with and managing digital media, social media platforms and website content.Supervisory and project management experience preferred.Strong strategic thinking, planning, attention to detail and organizational skills.Outstanding written & verbal interpersonal and customer service skills.
