Alliant Insurance is hiring a Relationship Manager for our Senior Market Sales office in Omaha, NE!POSITION HIGHLIGHTSWe are seeking a Relationship Manager to partner with the Director in supporting our Acquisition companies nationwide!Monday - Thursday 730am - 430pm, Friday 730am - 2pmFull-time, benefits-eligibleHybrid, 4 days a week in office, 1 day remote at our office: 8420 W Dodge RD Omaha, NEPotential for travel up to 5 days a monthSUMMARYResponsible for supporting the development and management of processes, tools, and people for field offices and acquisition partner operations. Serves as a liaison between field office, acquisition partners, and SMS corporate support services. This position will develop business plans, marketing programs/strategies and have primary oversight of day-to-day operations management. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with operations and administrative staff within acquisition partner operations will be a key responsibility. Also responsible for providing reporting on acquisition partner metrics on an ongoing basis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAcquisition Relationship Management: Maintains effective communication with acquisition partners. Acts as an additional liaison between shared services at SMS and acquisition partners. Conducts monthly and annual acquisition partner meetings. Serves as a primary contact with acquisition partners to resolve day-to-day issues.Business Management: Leads and implements marketing programs and strategies. Guides and directs acquisition leaders in their business plans. Establishes and oversees continuity plans for each entity. Collaborates and partners with the SMS integration team. Participates in key company-wide projects affecting acquisition partners. Coordinates with carriers, compliance department, and other areas as necessary to ensure all policies align with carrier and regulatory rules. Participates in agency onboarding and/or integration projects as appropriate. Provides necessary reporting on partner metrics to leadership regularly.Leadership and General Management: Participates in annual goal setting, including annual marketing or business plans for the business unit; Monitors performance against goals; Adheres to budget guidelines and approved annual marketing or business unit plans. Presents at appropriate meetings to provide updates on ongoing initiatives as well as future plans to be implemented, share reports, and identify needs or areas for improvement and action plans for correction. Establishes or oversees the development, maintenance and monitoring of desk manuals, Standard Practice Bulletins (SPBs) and Critical Success Indicators (CSIs).Special Projects: Works collaboratively with fellow staff to advance the values and mission of Senior Market Sales by serving on relevant internal and external committees; Assists with special projects/assignments as requested by members of management.Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Marketing or BusinessFive (5) or more years Insurance industry or related field (financial services, marketing, web-based business, business-to-business customer service or call center) preferredTwo (2) or more years of managerial experienceSKILLSWorking knowledge of the general industry procedures, standards, systems, resources, practices and terminology preferred; Medicare knowledge is preferredKnowledge of budgeting and financial management principles and proceduresKnowledge of program and project management including outcomes, quality assurance, and satisfaction measurement and interpretationKnowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation and training of personnel.Skill in negotiating and problem solving to resolve internal and external conflictsSkill in maintaining effective working relationships with all customers, employees and the general publicProficient computer skills (Microsoft/Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, MS Outlook software preferred)Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a constructive mannerAbility to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while remaining flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requestsAbility to maintain all company policies, including all confidentiality and safety policiesAbility to actively contribute to team effortAbility to work independently, exercise independent judgment, make and execute decisionsAbility to demonstrate organizational leadership qualities and develop and foster trusting relationships#LI-MH1
