This Territory Manager will:

Help develop and establish on/off premise strategy and expectations for a critically important market.

Be the go-to holistic manager for the off and on-premise channels and hold our distributor partner accountable to our Suntory Global Spirits goals and objectives.

Establish appropriate distributor on/off-premise targets, and evaluate ROI of activities.

Assist State Manager in achieving net sales volume, DGP, and KPI targets for

Connecticut's New Haven, Hartford, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Windham counties.

Role Responsibilities

Drive Suntory Global Spirits brand presence to achieve maximum penetration across the on and off premise.

Manage multiple distributor partner relationships for assigned territory; including assessing distributor execution and progress against financial performance objectives.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate collaborative business partnerships.

Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly planning and market performance recap/review sessions with State Manager and Distributor teams.

Manage budget (i.e. OPEX, Brand Investment Funds, T&E).

Keep current with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; ensure all efforts and sales activities are in compliance.

Create a culture of inclusion, diversity of thought, and accountability.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maximize marketplace opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

Exceptional planning, communication and self-management skills.

Sales experience, including experience selling promotion and marketing programs.

Experience in spirits industry preferred.

Licensed driver of motor vehicles.

MS Office Suite.

Flexibility in scheduling is essential as this position may require work on weekends and during evening hours.

Physical Demands: daily physical activities may include lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45 lbs.

Prefer that this person lives in New Haven or Hartford County.
