Territory Manager-Heavy Equipment Sales-Brainerd-Metro Minneapolis AreaMcCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Territory Manager-Heavy Equipment Sales position for the Brainerd, MN Area including the Metro-Minneapolis, MN area.McCoy Construction & Forestry is looking for a Territory Manager to help us increase our John Deere equipment sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our clients are happy and search for ways to grow our sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):

Devise effective territory-heavy equipment sales and marketing strategiesAnalyze data to find the most efficient sales methodsMeet with customers to address concerns and provide solutionsDiscover sales opportunities through consumer researchPresent products and services to prospective customersParticipate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationshipsConduct training in sales techniques and company product attributesAssess sales performance according to KPIsMonitor competition within assigned regionPrepare and submit reports to the General ManagerEducation, Skills & Knowledge Required:

2 years of construction and forestry heavy duty equipment experience requiredProven experience as a Territory Manager-Heavy Equipment SalesProven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferredAbility to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIsProficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plusOrganizational and leadership abilityProblem-solving aptitudeBSC/BA in Business, Marketing or a related fieldAffirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer—qualified women, minorities, and people with disabilities encouraged to apply.
