ABOUT THE JOBThe Middle Market Relationship Manager is responsible for the sales, service, and retention of complex and profitable companies within middle market C&I. This role focuses on new business development, portfolio management, credit quality, and overall relationship management of an assigned portfolio of commercial customers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with profitable middle market companies.

Develop and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Participate in joint calls with business partners to develop complex relationships with customers.

Manage a portfolio of middle market clients, monitoring credit quality and ensuring client satisfaction.

Cross sell all bank products; direct the coordination of product partners in the attainment of business plans.

Work in collaboration with credit professionals to produce written support of new or renewing credit exposure.

Identify, evaluate, structure and document commercial credit transactions.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial solutions to meet clients’ needs and objectives.

Drive revenue growth through self-sourced opportunities within the upper end/more complex universe of commercial customers and prospects.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting middle market clients.

Identify prospects through business development activities, within defined target markets, designed to build and grow loan & deposit portfolios.

Perform the daily behaviors, set forth by your leadership team, designed to meet and achieve your goals.

Participate in the underwriting and documentation of commercial loans.

Manage a Commercial Loan portfolio and monitor the portfolio for credit quality.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?A successful Middle Market Relationship Manager typically has:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, including specific courses in accounting, finance, and economics plus additional bank related training.

10+ years of Commercial Banking experience, preferably with clients of $100MM+ in annual revenue.

Formal credit training and 4+ years of credit analysis/structuring experience.

Superior knowledge of Commercial Banking products & services.

Strong track record of success in new business development with middle market companies and an established referral network in place.

The targeted salary range for this role is: $206,594.00 - $268,572.00

The annualized base salary range reflects figures based on the primary location. Pay ranges may vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for a Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
