This role is ideal for someone who thrives in taking products from concept to production, especially within small, agile teams. You will be accountable for building a product that serves both educators and learners in the healthcare sector, with a strong emphasis on understanding user needs, financial acumen, and strategic alignment with company goals.Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

In collaboration with the Director of Commercial Product Management, develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Pearson's goals and addresses the needs of nursing students and novice nurses.Product Development:

Translate commercial and customer needs into detailed product requirements and features. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Product Management, engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product development and launch.Collaboration and Leadership:

Foster strong collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders. Lead by example and mentor team members to drive product excellence.Commercial Partnership:

Work in close partnership with the commercial product management team to ensure alignment of product strategy with market opportunities and business goals.Customer Focus:

Maintain a deep understanding of customer pain points. Ensure that products meet high standards of quality and usability.Performance Measurement:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:

7+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on 0-1 product initiatives in either large companies or startups.Passion for improving nursing education and supporting the development of novice nurses.Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, influencing decision making.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Background in healthcare or education technology is highly desirable.Compensation:

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: The minimum full-time salary range is between $150,000 - $160,000.
