Senior Tax Manager Duties and Responsibilities
CPA professional with 7-10+ years of public accounting experience in federal income tax preparation and review (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S)Effectively manages workload to meet target deadlines, project budgets while maintaining a high level of work qualityDemonstrates strong verbal and written communication skillsPrevious client-facing responsibilities including participation in client meetings and managing routine correspondenceReview returns prepared by junior accountantsPerform tax research, staying up to date on changesRequirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldMaster's degree a plusCPA license requiredAbility to sign off on returns, you will be the final person signing off on reviewsTax preparation experience (7-10+ years preferred)Experience with bookkeeping software, including QuickBooksExperience with tax preparation software, preferably Lacerte
