A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess strong problem solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, along with strong analytical skills, is essential.

The starting annual salary for Clinical Business Development Representative is $64,000.00

General Expectation:

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Business Development Representative is a key role focused on proactively driving growth by identifying and pursuing new business

opportunities within the healthcare scope of CRS. This position combines a deep understanding of clinical practices with strategic business acumen to expand CRS’s market presence. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company’s

clinical and business objectives. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about healthcare innovation and has a proven track record in both driving business growth and developing clinical programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and, through the

success of these identified opportunities, designing, developing, and providing a proposal to the Clinical Director for the implementation of new clinical programs that align with CRS’s strategic

goals. The CBDR will be expected to meet key performance indicators tied to weekly, quarterly, and annual quotas, measuring metrics such as the number of emails sent, phone calls made,

and meetings scheduled.

development and program implementation. Hands-on experience with multiple client acquisition techniques (including cold calls).

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to pivot strategies based on market feedback.

Example Of Position Responsibilities:

Business Development-

1. Proactively research, identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand

CRS’s market presence.

2. Qualify leads by understanding their needs, budget, and timeline, ensuring alignment

with CRS’s services/offerings.

3. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve program design and development

targets and grow the client base.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and

stakeholders.

5. Collaborate with marketing to create compelling pitches, presentations, and

proposals.

6. Developing and implementing outreach campaigns to attract new

clients/organizations.

7. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance

brand visibility.

8. Reaching out to prospective clients/organizations or partners through cold calls.

9. Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients/organizations by building

strong relationships and following up on inquiries.

10. Practice and promote the Sanctuary model seven commitments: nonviolence,

emotional intelligence, social learning, open communication, social responsibility,

democracy and growth and change. Be knowledgeable about and use Sanctuary

tools and SELF with clients and colleagues as appropriate.

Clinical Program Development-

11. Through the success of identified new business opportunities, design, develop,

provide a proposal to Clinical Director for implementation clinical programs that meet

the needs of clients, providers, and other stakeholders.

12. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure programs are evidence-based, client centered,

and aligned with regulatory requirements.

13. Work with Performance Improvement Manager to monitor and evaluate the

effectiveness of clinical programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve

outcomes.

14. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful program execution.

15. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, and finance,

to ensure seamless integration of clinical programs into the broader business

strategy.

16. Provide training and support to clinical staff on new programs and protocols.

Reporting & Analysis-

17. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of leads

generated, conversion rates, and overall prospective pipeline health.

18. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies. Provide

regular updates to management on the status of business development activities and

suggest areas for improvement.

OTHER DUTIES:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, walking up steps at housing facilities, lifting 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
