We are currently seeking a Senior QA Analyst with thorough understanding of end-to-end system testing in a fast paced, highly technical and complex business environment.
The ideal candidate should be well versed in performing both manual and automated testing for various types of applications including user-interfaces, business intelligence solutions, and real-time transaction processing and middle-ware systems.
What You'll Do:
Strategizing and generating test plans to ensure the highest quality software system deliverablesProactively participating in the review process of the business requirements and functional specifications for the purpose of generating use cases for functional testingGenerating accurate and comprehensive test cases to test both the logical functional domain as well as the technical domain within the firm's exchange systemsManage all aspects of the testing process including generating and maintaining test plans and use cases, tracking test failures and validating remediation effortsPerforming hands-on testing of user-interfaces and validating system behavior through application log and database miningDeveloping automated test tools and procedures to enable regression testing efficiencyWhat You'll Bring:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering10+ years of experience in software QA/testing4+ years of experience with automated testing toolsMust have thorough knowledge of the QA testing process and best practicesMust have demonstrated accomplishments in testing user-interface and transaction-processing systemsMust have strong knowledge of SQL queries and conceptsMust have strong experience with automated test tool - Selenium Web driverMust have experience using the LINUX command line interfaceMust have basic knowledge of JavaExperience with CI and CD platforms such as JenkinsKnowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, etc. a big plusExperience with open source testing automation framework, preferably BDD such as Cucumber a big plusEffective analytical and problem solving skills a mustExcellent verbal and communication skills requiredMust be a self-motivated, dynamic, organized and responsible team player
