High school graduateTwo or more years of customer service work experience at a concierge, front desk or similar positionOne or more years of PBX experience is desirableExceptional communication and interpersonal skills needed for telephone and in-person contact with residents, staff, and visitorsJob Summary:

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting & directing residents and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding them accordingly, monitoring and responding to emergency call panels and situations, addressing resident and visitor questions and needs, performing routine office and administrative support work for staff and residents, and providing an overall welcoming environment for both Sur and Norte lobbies (incumbent may be assigned to more than one location) of the facility. This position requires a working knowledge of the activities performed at each reception desk.

Essential Job Duties:

Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly mannerWelcome residents and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions they may haveMaintain lobby, reception area, and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all timesMonitors annunciator panels for emergencies and fire alarms, responds quickly and appropriately in accordance with facility policies and proceduresCommunicate clearly and professionally through 2-way radio to other departmentsMonitor lobby securityOperate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computerKeep detailed and accurate records of visitors through AccushieldReceive deliveries; log, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesReceive, log, and distribute resident prescriptionsTake inventory of reception supplies and restock as neededMaintains resident census reportsCoordinate information distribution between the reception desk and departments as appropriate.Maintain the general reception filing systemProvide general administrative support to staff and residents as neededProvide lunch and dinner reservations for the dining roomsAccepts tray order requests on Saturday and Sunday

Pay Rate:

Starting at $18.00/hr.

PM, NOC and weekend availability is preferred.

All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID-19 vaccination status.
