Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We have a full-time, Parts Warehouse Clerk position available at our Victoria, Texas location. This position is responsible for responding to customers' needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. This requires working independently, with specific direction, or as a member of a team. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, day shift 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Functions:

Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsAdheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulationsMaintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working orderCompletes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfactionCompletes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely, and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status in the parts warehouse; To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year-end physical inventoriesMaintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards, so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department managerDevelop sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA'sCompletes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return communicates job status to supervisor as neededLearns how to place 3?? party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA systemWorks overtime as required by workloadRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines to include; order pulling, job-related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder Job Safety Analysis (JSA), battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and proceduresGeneral knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceKnowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardwareOperation and control skills of equipment or systemsEquipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a jobAbility to follow logical troubleshooting proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead craneAbility to operate a conventional forkliftAbility to quickly and repeatedly operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positionsAbility to be self-starting and self-motivatedGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, write, and understand informationAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesEducation and Experience:
