Marketing Manager

World Finer Foods is a full-service sales, marketing and distribution company for specialty food and personal care brands. With nearly $250 million in annual sales, World Finer Foods sells over 30 brands and over 600 products from around the world.

Today we manage a group of our own brands as well as client-owned brands. Our Specialty brand portfolio spans multiple categories with brands in a variety of stages of their lifecycles in the U.S. market – from emerging brands to established specialty brands.

World Finer Foods has an immediate opening for a Client Relationship Marketing Manager on the Specialty Brands Marketing Team. The successful candidate will have a service-oriented mindset combined with strong project management, analytical, communication and influencing skills.

They will act as “mini general managers” of the brands that they oversee, with responsibility for:

Actively managing the relationship with third-party brand counterparts which may include export managers, marketing managers, and other key brand team members

Aligning on business plansCommunicating progress vs. business plan goalsDocumenting agreements and outstanding action itemsAdvising on category and competitive developmentsTracking expenses and billing back as neededDriving closure

Creating and executing business plans with brands and cross-functional counterparts including sales, finance, supply chain, etc.

Building retail presentations and other selling tools to support sales team callsPartnering with sales and purchasing teams to deliver accurate demand forecastsSecuring additional funding from brands to support incremental volume driving activitiesPartnering with finance to develop and update cost models to support innovation launches

Other duties as determined by management

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have business management, general marketing and/or finance experience. Client management or heavy cross-functional experience is preferred. Individual should be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment and proactively deliver business solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment and will bring a positive attitude to the team.

Ability to lead/partner with clients/brand ownersStrong negotiation/persuasion skillsExceptional time management, project management, and organizational skillsComfortable analyzing data from a variety of sources; strong quantitative skillsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsStrong computer (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) skillsAbility to travel up to 10%Experience:

Minimum of 4-6 years of marketing or business management experienceClient account management experience a plusEducation:

Bachelor’s Degree is requiredMaster’s Degree (MBA) is preferred

Position reports to Vice President of Marketing. The position is full-time, exempt, hybrid (in-office 3x per week) located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and is available immediately.
